Adele and Beyoncé are looking good to clean up at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.
The nominees have just been announced, and Beyoncé leads the way with 11 after her latest surprise release Lemonade.
Adele has eight nods, and others nominated in more than one category include Drake, Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande and Drake.
Kiwi dance queen Parris Goebel's choreography helped put Justin Bieber's 'Sorry' into contention for Video of the Year. Her dance crew The Royal Family appeared in the clip.
Goebel's efforts can also be seen in Beiber's PURPOSE: The Movement, up for the Breakthrough Long-Form Video award.
Flying the flag for rock are Coldplay and David Bowie. Coldplay have three nods, while the late Bowie has four.
