A Nelson-based designer has won the top prize at the World of Wearable Art Awards Show in Wellington.
Peter Wakeman's garment, called "Diva's Dreamscape", is made of stainless steel, wood and fibreglass and evokes the art deco era.
It also won the creative excellence section, which has a theme of architecture.
It's the third year in a row a New Zealand designer has won the supreme award.
