The members of rap collective Odd Future have launched their own radio station.

The 24-hour commercial-free network is a joint venture between the bandmates and executives at Dash Radio.

The new channel premiered over the weekend on dashradio.com.

In an email to Fader, Odd Future's manager Christian Clancy writes, "It's a 24/7 commercial free station for their shows, their shit, their friends and music they like... (There will be) a live show on Tuesdays, specials..., whatever they come up with. Could be absolutely amazing or a complete disaster."

Meanwhile, Odd Future member Tyler, The Creator has blasted rockers U2 over their free album download, comparing the stunt to waking up with a sexually transmitted disease.

He was furious after discovering the band's new record, Songs of Innocence, had been automatically added to his Apple storage device without his consent.

The technology giant linked up with the Irish rockers to provide a free download of the album to half a billion customers around the world this week but the rapper is angry he was 'given' the record without asking for it.

In a series of messages on his Twitter account, he says, "Get off my f**king phone. You couldn't come up with an actual marketing idea? F**k @U2 I don't want you. F**k Bono. I didn't ask for you, I'm mad...

"I did not (know) you were on my phone. Its legit like waking up with a pimple or like a herpe idk I did know you were on my phone. What the f**k."
