Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he is undergoing "intense therapy" for a "sex addiction".

The lead vocalist of Black Sabbath says he has been dealing with the addiction for the last six years.

His extra-marital affairs included his hair stylist Michelle Pugh who recently revealed she had a "very real relationship" with Mr Osbourne.

His statement came after Ms Pugh made the revelation to People magazine. In it he said he's sorry if his hair stylist and other women he was with took their relationship "out of context".

Ozzy Osbourne says he was "mortified" at the effect his behaviour had had on his family.

He and wife Sharon briefly split in May but have since rekindled their 34-year marriage.

However the family drama doesn't end there.

Daughter Kelly Osbourne has got involved, tweeting: "Anyone looking for cheap chunky LOW-lights a blow out and a b***job call (with Michelle Pugh's number),"

The tweet has since been deleted, but the hair stylist says the damage has been done. According to New York Daily News Ms Pugh has filed a defamation claim against Kelly Osbourne.

The filing also claims Ms Osbourne defamed the mistress a second time when she responded to a member of the public with this tweet:
