Hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton plans to sue the Egyptian TV pranksters who tricked her into believing she was going to die in a terrifying plane stunt.
TMZ says she is furious about the stunt and has told business associates she will bring legal action against those responsible.
Her lawyers are said to have informed her she has a solid case for emotional distress.
Hilton was the unwitting victim of Egyptian funnyman Ramez Galal, who took her on what she thought was an aerial tour of Dubai.
As the plane appeared to suffer engine difficulties and nose-dived, its door opened and a passenger jumped out with a parachute.
"What the f**k is going on?" cries a clearly distressed Hilton in the video, which has now gone viral online.
None of Hilton's entourage were in on the stunt, apparently.
She was in the Middle East for the launch of a new hotel.
