Around 70,000 people attended Auckland Armageddon at ASB Showgrounds this weekend to celebrate all aspects of pop culture.
Armageddon is New Zealand's largest entertainment exhibition and has been held in Auckland since 1995.
Now in its 19th year, the exhibition has spread all over the country and across the Tasman with events held in Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton and Melbourne.
The annual event opened on Friday night with a burning man celebration. Overwhelming demand for tickets saw presales sell out early Saturday morning.
Throughout all four days the halls of the showgrounds were jam-packed with cosplayers, gamers, celebrities and families.
Special guests at the event included MacGyver star Richard Dean Anderson, Jenna Coleman from Doctor Who and a Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito.
