Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler has recorded a new track with Korean pop sensation Psy.

The 'Gangnam Style' hitmaker recorded the unlikely collaboration for his new album, admitting the duet is a dream come true for him.

He tells Italy’s L'Uomo Vogue, "When I was in middle school, I literally cried when Aerosmith were singing Crazy or Amazing or whatever. They were my lifetime role models, and now I am collaborating with Steven Tyler. What the f**k, man? I love my life."

The odd couple reportedly hooked up backstage at a festival in Singapore in May, when Psy tweeted a photo of himself with his hero. He also posted a shot of an Aerosmith set list upon which Tyler had written, "Psy, O yeah, honor & pleasure to meet you. Love, Steven Tyler."

The title of the song they recorded together along with any other details have not been released.

Meanwhile, Psy has revealed he is also hoping to revamp a Queen hit following a meeting with guitarist Brian May, during which he told the rocker how the late Freddie Mercury has influenced his performances.

He adds, "His songwriting skills, I cannot even approach, but his showmanship, everything I know about the stage, I learned it from his videos."
