Simon Cowell and Ricky Martin's new search for the ultimate Latino boy band has now been given a US start date.
La Banda, the music-based reality-competition developed by Univision Communications Inc and Cowell's SYCO Entertainment, will premiere on September 13.
Executive produced by Cowell and Martin, the show will feature the 'Livin' La Vida Loca' singer, Laura Pausini and Alejandro Sanz as judges, while Alejandra Espinoza will host the series.
La Banda will "search the US and Puerto Rico to put together the ultimate Latino super group".
The eventual winners will land a contract with Sony Music Latin and Cowell's SYCO Music, the recording label responsible for some of the world's biggest selling artists, including One Direction.
Ricky Martin will manage the winning band.
