Song remains the same for Jimmy Page in renovation battle

Veteran rocker Jimmy Page has filed another complaint against British pop star Robbie Williams in their ongoing war over property planning permission.

The former Take That star withdrew renovation proposals on his £17.5 million mansion in west London in March after the Led Zeppelin rocker complained to planning officials about the effect it would have on his neighbouring home.

It appeared Page had won the battle, but just a few weeks later, Williams reapplied for permission with a scaled-down proposal to lower some floors, demolish and rebuild his garage and knock down some interior walls.

Page has not backed down and has sent a new letter to officials at Kensington and Chelsea council to repeat his frustrations, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper. He believes the proposed work could damage characteristics of his gothic-style Holland Park home which are "extremely delicate and irreplaceable."
