Twenty years after they first conquered the charts, the Spice Girls are on the hunt for two new members.

Geri Horner (nee Halliwell), Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown - Ginger, Baby and Scary Spice - have reportedly approached the BBC with the idea of a talent show, in which the trio judge wannabes looking to join the band.

The group wants to replace Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm (Posh and Sporty) after the pair ruled themselves out of a potential reunion next year.

According to The Daily Mail, the Spice Girls talent hunt will take place next April and culminate in a live final on BBC1.

The winner will join the band for a gig in London's Hyde Park next July to mark the 21st anniversary of their debut single 'Wannabe'.
