The red carpet for the Bafta film awards is underway at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Peter Jackson's Hobbit sequel The Desolation of Smaug is up for two awards.
The sequel has been nominated for Best Makeup and Hair alongside American Hustle, Behind the Candelabra, The Great Gatbsy and The Butler.
It's also up for Best Special Visual Effects along with Iron Man 3 and Gravity.
Gravity looks like it will clean up this year, with 11 nominations.
The 67th annual event is being hosted by Stephen Fry.
