Susan Sarandon has given film fans even more hope that there's a Thelma & Louise sequel in the works by revealing she'd love to work with co-star Geena Davis again.
The two stars reunited for a day out recently and sparked rumours of a professional get together by posting a 'selfie' of them together.
Now Sarandon tells WENN, "I'd love to work with her again. They had kind of knocked around ideas for a sequel for Thelma & Louise but they were so ridiculous. I remember saying, 'What would we do?' And they said, 'You'd collect a big cheque!'
"I don't know how you would resurrect them. I mean, I love Gina. It was great to see her. We had a nice day together. But at the moment I don't know what that would be. It would have to be something sitting down because when we stand up she's a foot taller than I am. That's why the car (in Thelma & Louise) worked because we were kind of on the same level sitting in it. I'm shrinking and she's still six foot one (inch)."
Spoiler alert:
In the final scene of the 1991 road trip movie, Sarandon and Davis' characters were seen driving over a cliff as they attempted to escape the law.
