Ted Nugent slams 'subhuman mongrel chimpanzee' Obama

Controversial rock star Ted Nugent has taken aim at American President Barack Obama again, calling him a "subhuman mongrel" and "the enemy of the US military".

The gun-loving Republican has made it clear he's no fan of Obama, and he has sparked security concerns in the past with his threats and thoughts.

Now he's really letting the President have it over his opposition for more gun control following a spate of school and mall shootings.

In a new video interview with Guns.com, the 'Cat Scratch Fever' rocker claims Obama was allowed to "weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America".

He adds, "The state of politics in America are heartbreaking, tragic, and virtually self-inflicted... We would like to apologise to the heroes in the military for bending over since World War II, and allowing a Commander in Chief who is the enemy of the US military.

"A lot of people would call that inflammatory speech. Well, I would call it inflammatory speech when it's your job to protect Americans and you look into the television camera and say, 'What difference does it make that I failed in my job to provide security and we have four dead Americans? What difference does that make?' Not to a chimpanzee or Hillary Clinton, I guess it doesn't matter."
