Telltale Games' Back to the Future: The Game is getting a new, remastered release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original film.

Originally released episodically for PC, PlayStation 3 and iOS between December 2010 and July 2011, Back to the Future: The Game is an adventure game set six months after the end of Back to the Future III, and follows Marty McFly on another adventure after the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously shows up outside his house - without a driver.

The game was written by Telltale with the assistance of Bob Gale, the co-creator and co-writer of the movies.

A number of the original actors, including Christopher Lloyd (Emmett 'Doc' Brown), Claudi Wells (Jennifer Parker), and Tom Wilson (Biff Tannen) do the voice acting for their respective characters. While Michael J Fox hasn't reprised his role as Marty McFly, he did return for a cameo appearance in episode five.

Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition includes all five episodes of the game, with graphical improvements, updated voice acting from Wilson, and a number of behind-the-scenes videos.

It's due out digitally on October 13, and at retail on October 16.
