Raven-Symoné is leaving The View to do a spinoff of her comedy series That's So Raven for the Disney Channel.
The star will once again gaze into the future as Raven Baxter and will also executive produce the new series, the network has announced.
The currently untitled spinoff will follow Raven as a divorced mom of a preteen son and daughter, one of whom has inherited her ability to see into the future.
"I'm excited and sad, but mostly excited," Symoné said on The View.
"There's no title yet, but I'm calling it That's So Raven 2. It's Raven Baxter, I'm still me, but I'm a mother this time."
Symoné appeared to let slip which one of her children gains her psychic abilities in the announcement, saying: "One of them is going to learn that she has visions".
Disney executive Adam Bonnett says: "Raven's brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel's success around the world. Her performance in That's So Raven is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we're looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation."
No further casting details or a release date have yet been announced.
