Ceri wasn't the only one sent home The Bachelor NZ on Monday, however she was the only one to go without a rose.

The Bay of Islands was the third location destination, and Naz was chosen to go on a single date.

Mauger took her off road to see the sights from the cliff-tops, where the 32-year-old said he wanted something low-key without the distraction of animals or adrenaline.

Back at the house, the other four girls conspired about the last single date, Ceri, who ended up going home.

When it got to the 'nitty gritty' of last night's date, Naz was clever enough to turn Jordan's question back on him and gauge how he was doing before answering herself -- conveniently giving him the perfect answer.

She then gave him the petals from the rose of their first one-on-one, and then he gave her a shell ring; something they looked for but couldn't find in Hawaii, followed by a woven flax-rose.

A flax rose doesn't count towards immunity from elimination, but lucky Jordan had buried a rose in the sand for her to find while they went for a swim.

Naz was up to her dirty tricks again when she didn't tell the other girls she had a real rose, only a flax one, leaving them all thinking they had a chance.

Next up it was time for a group date, and only three of the remaining five were chosen.

They went kayaking, where each of the girls were hoping to score some one-on-one time with the bachelor.

Kate had an interesting method of getting his attention; peeing on national television, and funnily enough it didn't work.

Gabs and Jordan went off for a picnic, where they started chatting about serious stuff to see if they were compatible.

The Treaty of Waitangi grounds was the chosen venue for the infamous cocktail party, where the girls, decked out in sequins, gathered to toast to the final six, soon to be five.

At that stage, Naz still hadn't told the girls that she already had a rose, so going into the ceremony the girls were confused as to why there was only four roses, thinking there would be a double elimination.

Jordan took Storm off for a last-minute chat, where she confessed that she wasn't ready for home visits.

That may have been her downfall, as when it came to pick the top five, she was not chosen and asked to go home.
