The Office star Jenna Fischer is struggling to come to terms with news the hit series will end next year, insisting the cast and crew have all grown "very sentimental".
Last week producers of the show announced the ninth season of the Emmy Award-winning comedy would be its last, prompting many fans to mourn the end of a TV era - and Fischer admits the actors are taking it hard, too.
She tells UsMagazine.com, "We're already getting very sentimental. We are cherishing every moment, every scene already and we're only on the fourth episode."
And her on-screen colleague, Angela Kinsey, reveals the tears are already starting to flow.
She adds, "If I talk about it too much I get emotional for sure. We've become a family for real. We hang out at work, we hang out outside of work... Kate (Flannery) and I already cried together.
"We knew it was our last season but we weren't allowed to say anything, but, when the announcement came down that day, we were all in a scene together... And so it was emotional when we all realised the rest of the world knew too because it made it very real."
