Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and Massive Attack have staged a secret gig in London in support of the ongoing 'Occupy' protest in the city.

Protesters began camping outside London landmark St Paul's Cathedral in October to demonstrate against corporate greed, and they subsequently moved into the city's Finsbury Square and an empty bank building in Hackney.

A number of stars have backed the UK protest, including actor Bill Nighy and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who performed at the Occupy camp.

Yorke has now thrown his support behind the demonstrators, along with British band Massive Attack, and they teamed up to stage a secret gig on Tuesday at the empty bank building, which is owned by America's UBS.

They played for an audience of around 100 people and the gig was streamed on the internet.
