Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has written a song which is 18 days long.

The British rocker put together the innovative music piece, which stretches over 432 hours, for an art exhibition by Stanley Donwood, who has created all the band's album covers since 1994.

The song, titled 'Subterranea', is the soundtrack to Donwood's The Panic Office show, which is currently on display in Sydney, Australia and features Radiohead's cover art and band posters.

It is said to be similar in style to the more abstract moments on Yorke's most recent album Tomorrow's Modern Boxes.

York reportedly has no plans to release the track after the exhibition closes next month.

Donwood has designed the artwork for all of Radiohead's albums from The Bends onwards, along with that of his side-supergroup Atoms for Peace.
