British pop star Tulisa Contostavlos has been bailed following her arrest on suspicion of supplying drugs.

The former N-Dubz star was taken into custody for questioning by London police after she was targetted by undercover reporters working for Britain's The Sun newspaper, who alleged the singer was caught on camera agreeing to arrange a cocaine deal worth £800 in May.

The 24-year-old is accused of introducing the reporters to her rapper pal Mike GLC, who was also arrested as cops continue to investigate the case.

The suspects have since been bailed, pending further inquiries, until July.

Representatives for Contostavlos, a former judge on the UK's The X Factor, have declined to comment on the allegations, but the singer's pal Mike GLC insists they were set up.

Speaking to reporters outside Belgravia Police station, the 35-year-old said, "We are innocent. We haven't been charged... Anyone can edit or chop things together on video. The truth will come out in the end. I don't want to go into much more detail.

"I am going home to be with my family. This is ruining my life. I am not a drug dealer. I have never sold drugs in my life."
