The latest 'Disney on Ice' show will be in the capital for the next five days before heading to Christchurch and Auckland.
Wellington's TSB Arena has been transformed into a fairytale kingdom for the Princesses and Heroes show which has been touring the globe since 2006.
Tour coordinator Rebecca King says she's excited to bring the show to Wellington.
"There's something for everyone in this show. There's a dragon that breathes fire and the whole thing is just magical with lights and sparkling costumes."
The production has 40 ice skaters and all of them are on the rink at some stage during the show.
