A couple of years ago UK producer James Blake took dubstep, a dance genre usually accompanied with massive raves, and used it to quietly express his inner-most feelings.
What he came up with saw him nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize.
He plays Auckland's Town Hall Friday August 2.
