Julianne Moore has won the 2015 Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Still Alice.
She was up against Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything), Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Reese Witherspoon (Wild) and Marion Cotillard (Two Days, One Night).
In Still Alice Moore portrays an Alzheimer's patient and has had a long career in which she's been nominated for four previous Oscars.
Accepting her trophy, Moore said: "I read an article that said that winning an Oscar could lead to living five years longer. If that's true I'd really like to thank the Academy because my husband is younger than me."
Moore has previously won the Golden Globe, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild, Independent Spirit and several critics groups awards for the role.
