Timaru's Denheath Desserts is aiming to take its treats to the world and has launched a crowdfunding campaign to expand its factory.
The company's famous for their delicious custard squares - they're light and fluffy, and not too sweet.
After co-owner Lisa Templeton spoke to Paul Henry on Thursday, she left a few little treats for the team.
At the after-show meeting, they enjoyed it the only way you really can - turning into a speed eating competition.
It was social media's Verity Johnson against a custard square and two croissants, with 30 seconds on the clock.
So with some encouraging words from her colleagues, did Johnson win all?
