A planned Air New Zealand flight to Antarctica today has been called off.

It's the third time the so-called approving flight has been delayed.

The flights are intended to test the feasibility of landing a commercial aircraft on the continent.

They're also looking at organisms beneath the ice, to see how they are being affected, and the local fauna, such as penguins.
