A British medical team has revealed the first recording of babies yawning in the womb.
But it's not a sign they're bored or sleepy, it's a sign the foetus' nervous system is developing.
The yawning decreases as the foetus grows, and should stop altogether by about 36 weeks.
And yes, it's a yawn – because only in yawns does a mouth open slower than it closes.
