A dolphin employed by the US military has used its echo-location skills to find a historic torpedo.

Also in science news this week, a 30-year study has found birds with longer wings are more likely to be hit by traffic than their short-winged peers.

And scientists have proved that being cold lowers the body's immune system's ability to fend off the cold-causing rhinovirus.
