TV3 will host a live leaders’ debate between Prime Minister John Key and opposition leader Phil Goff in the last week of the 2011 election campaign.

The 90-minute debate and analysis, screening live on November 21 at 7pm, is among the last major debates before election night.

John Campbell will host and moderate the show that allows one hour of leader debate before analysis from a media panel.

The debate will also showcase the latest in audience interaction technology, with real-time viewer reactions shown using the innovative Roy Morgan Reactor.

A group of selected uncommitted voters will record their emotional reactions to the debate using the Reactor handsets, with the results shown live onscreen throughout the show.

The general public can also join the live review using their smartphone with the Roy Morgan Reactor app. Their results will be shown separate to the voters group.

The show will finish with commentary from a media panel consisting of RadioLIVE host Paul Henry, TV3 political editor Duncan Garner and political scientist Therese Arseneau.
