Rapper Young Thug has been threatened with legal action amid allegations he stole his new song 'Best Friend' from an aspiring hip-hop star.

New Orleans, Louisiana lyricist Tokyo Vanity lashed out at the 'Danny Glover' hitmaker on Instagram, hours after he released the video for his track, and accused him of blatantly ripping off her tune, titled 'That's My Best Friend'.

In a video posted online, she said, "My song is copywritten and trademarked, bitch. I could sue if I want to, bitch. I will spit in y’all f**king face... F**k Young Thug."

The female rapper goes on to claim Young Thug is well aware of the copyright infringement because she was invited to feature in the promo by director Be El Be, but she rejected the offer because she is not a fan of his version of the track.

She continued, "I declined because I didn’t want to be in that video to that poo-ass song. That song is poo as his f**king dreads, bitch. He had to steal something, bitch."

She has since also shared a screenshot of the director's online message to back up her claims.

Young Thug has yet to respond to the accusations.
