Disney film Moana has scored two Golden Globe nominations for Best Animated Film and Best Original Song - just in time for the Kiwi cast of the film to celebrate at its New Zealand premiere on Tuesday night.

Three of the lead roles are played by Kiwis. Moana's Gramma Tala is voiced by Rachel House, and Temuera Morrison is behind the character of her father, Chief Tui.

The third local talent is Jemaine Clement, playing a massive kleptomaniac crab called Tamatoa.
