More has been revealed of much-hyped horror game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, with a creepy new trailer and virtual reality demo released.
In the trailer, lead character Ethan Winters faces all sorts of terrors while searching for his wife.
The game appears to be going for psychological horror in tone, rather than the more action-heavy, recent Resident Evil titles.
Following the original 'Kitchen' demo, a new playable teaser has been released for PlayStation VR, taking players back to the same spooky house location.
As with previous Resident Evil games, the player will have access to a variety of weapons including pistols, shotguns, flamethrowers, explosives and chainsaws.
Other staple gameplay elements from the franchise like puzzle-solving, resource management and healing herbs have also been confirmed.
Resident Evil 7: BioHazard is set for release in January, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
