When you hire the legendary D-O-double-G to DJ an event, you better be prepared for him not to do the radio edit.

As the National Hockey League kicked off its All-Star Skills Competition in LA on Saturday (local time), rap artist Snoop Dogg was the in-arena DJ introducing the players.

However Snoop Dogg's songs are not exactly family-friendly, and he wasn't about to start censoring himself.

The music legend treated the crowds at the Staples Centre, and the people watching the livestream on NBCSN at home, to several F-bombs in the classic Snoop-Dr Dre track 'The Next Episode'.

NBCSN commentator Kenny Albert was forced to apologise. Snoop did acknowledge his gaffe and apologise on Twitter and Instagram though, saying: "My bad."
