Disney's A Wrinkle in Time has wrapped filming after two weeks, and the director has declared the cast and crew's love for New Zealand on Instagram.

The post has also been shared by actress Mindy Kaling, and on the movie's official Instagram page.

Director Ava DuVernay gushed about how excited she is for everyone to see the film they've been working on.

In the clip, shot with a drone, some of the stars can be seen waving flags before revealing the landscapes they have been working in.

The scenery was admired by many of their followers, including YouTuber Tyler Oakley.

"Wow that is actually STUNNING," he commented.

Many of the cast have boasted online about the Queenstown views near Lake Hawea - Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Kaling have shared several pictures.

A Wrinkle in Time is a fantasy adventure directed by DuVernay and written by Jennifer Lee, based on the 1962 novel series by Madeleine L'Engle. The movie is set to be released in the US on April 6, 2018.
