Actor Justin Long, widely known for Apple's iconic 'Get A Mac' ad campaign, is now starring in tech rival Huawei's advertising campaigns.
Long, who audiences knew as the young, relaxed 'Mac Guy' next to the stuffily suited Windows man, has now starred in two Huawei adverts.
The adverts, named The Interview and The Audition, see Long promoting the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Matebook.
The ads make little reference to his previous advertisements with Apple. Huawei supposedly originally encouraged the idea of the actor nodding to his past adverts.
However Long and the ad agency are believed to pressed them to play down the references.
Despite this, reaction on the internet and social media remains unimpressed. Long is seen to have swapped allegiances, and some are going as far as to call him a traitor.
