Mariah Carey could have one more sweet day at the top of the charts with her sexy new single and video 'I Don't', featuring the veteran pop queen in lingerie, wearing fishnet tights and a bridal garter.

The fresh single marks her comeback from a mortifying New Year's Eve show in New York's Times Square, where technical glitches revealed she was lip-synching.

It's clear the sultry songstress has still got pop appeal, as she writhes in the back of a flash car, driven by rapper YG, who also features in the new tune.

It comes on top of a busy time for Carey who is starring in a new reality TV series, amongst other projects.

She told fans on Facebook she's focusing on new music after recently splitting from her fiancée, Australian billionaire James Packer.

'I Don't' sounds like it's aimed at Mr Packer, with Carey in wedding-style outfits, singing: "leaving you was my worst fear."

On the same day the saucy new video came out, Carey shared pictures on Instagram of herself at the gym - in fishnets and stilettos.

She seems set on getting over the recent calamities, as she captions pictures: "Climb every mountain" and "Running amok".
