Pop singer Adele is back in the headlines after publicly scolding a security guard who was telling people to sit down - and for inviting a man onto stage who ended up proposing to his boyfriend.
Adele has proven a real hit with her hordes of Australian fans during a two-week stint in the country, and snuck into the news on many occasions for telling crude jokes, revealing the covert way she gets on stage and dedicating a song to a woman who suffered a heart attack.
But Sunday night's concert at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium - her final one in Australia - was another memorable show that saw her castigate a killjoy security guard to the entertainment of 77,000 fans.
"Just before we go to the next song - excuse me sir, I know you work here, but can you stop telling people to sit down?" Adele said.
"This is a music show. If people can't see, then they can stand up. If it's only about people dancing, then what the f*** have you come to the show for?
"If I see one more person being told to sit down, I swear to God," she trailed off, to cheers from her adoring crowd.
The 'Hello' hitmaker also made last night's concert one to remember for one couple after accidentally setting up their proposal - and it all started with an unplanned afternoon nap.
Adele normally writes letters to a handful of fans attending her shows, but after falling asleep she ran out of time to write them - and to make amends said she'd invite one fan on stage.
Adele ended up picking a man in his 30s who had started crying as she'd walked past him in her opening song, and when he and his boyfriend made it to the stage, he ended up dropping down on one knee to propose.
Adele told fans she had no idea what was going to happen when he came up, saying: "That wasn't planned, I had no idea."
Adele heads to New Zealand this week, and will perform three sold-out shows at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on March 23, 25 and 26.
