John Legend thrills with train station performance

John Legend delighted commuters at a London train station this week with an impromptu performance on a piano.

The crooner played hits including 'Ordinary People', 'All of Me' and 'Surefire' at St Pancras station in celebration of International Piano Day.

Legend, a 10-time Grammy winner, tweeted shortly before the performance that he was about to give it upon arriving on a Eurostar service from Paris.

A crowd had amassed by the time he started tapping the ivory keys, with Legend promoting his upcoming world tour and new album Darkness and Light.

When the La La Land star had finished the free mini-concert, he didn't hang around for selfies with fans and was instead escorted away promptly.
