Kendall Jenner's lavish home in the Hollywood Hills has been burgled, with the items stolen reportedly worth a total more than US$200,000.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star phoned emergency services at 1:15am on Thursday morning (local time) according to media, but no forced entry was discovered at the scene.

Police said it was an "inside job", according to reports, with evidence pointing to someone gaining entry to the residence earlier in the evening when the Victoria's Secret model was hosting a party.

Jenner is said to have left with friends at around midnight, returning an hour later to find a jewellery box opened and items missing.

Before she left, the 21-year-old is said to have heard an alarm go off - indicating a door had been opened - but didn't think it was suspicious, as she was hosting a party at the time.

Jenner's sad news comes five months after her big sister Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint in Paris, losing US$5.6 million worth of jewellery.

It's the latest in a spate of Hollywood burglaries, with Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette, Yasiel Puig and Nick Young also being hit in recent weeks.
