NZTA says there are "significant delays" all over the networks thanks to the imminent concert.

It shared an image of a live traffic map at 5pm, showing some of the main roads around the stadium are beginning to clog up, while the motorways are backing up with the peak-hour traffic.

5:10pm: While others have hit the road, some concert goers are chasing the pavement.

With only 20 minutes to go until gates open, hordes of fans have descended on the stadium.

One attendee told Newshub she arrived extra early to make sure she and her friends were able to beat the traffic.
