Prince William's daggy dance moves inspire hip-hop track

Footage of Prince William's cringingly bad dancing in a nightclub at a Swiss ski resort has now inspired a song by '90s hip-hop icons Luniz.

The video, obtained by celebrity news site TMZ, shows him breaking out some daggy '90s-style dance moves at the club in Verbier, on a recent ski trip with some friends.

The dancing is made all the more comical because he appears to be somewhat isolated from everyone else.

Luniz's best-known track 'I Got 5 On It' can be heard playing in the background of the clip - and that appears to have inspired the duo to record a brand new song in honour of the British royal.

Entitled 'Party Like Prince Will', the track urges listeners to let themselves "go up, up and away", presumably in a similar fashion to the prince's floundering arms.

"I'm butt-naked in the pool 'cause I wanna be, I'm on the same thing [Tupac] was on, but like Prince William I rock alone," one half of the duo raps.

"Pop another liquor seal and party like Prince Will!" the song's chorus repeats.

While the song is unlikely to trouble the Billboard charts, it does give an indication of just how widespread the footage of Prince William has become.
