Mr Bean's been resurrected at the premiere of his latest film - which is being exclusively released in China.

Top Funny Comedian is expected to be a box office hit. It is a spin-off of the eponymous television show starring Rowan Atkinson, known as Mr Foolish Bean in China. His iconic slapstick comedy and extreme facials had the audience in fits at the premiere.

The stars in the film spoke different languages, and Atkinson says his body language and comedy was the main way he communicated with his Mandarin-speaking co-stars.

Atkinson, 62, revived the bumbling loner character following his quick divorce from wife Sunetra, after he left her for a comedy actress nearly half his age.

The British star has also been busy reprising his Love Actually role as an exacting jewellery salesman for the Comic Relief special.
