Trailer for new Louis CK special heading to Netflix

  • 29/03/2017

Hot on the heels of two Dave Chapelle stand-up specials, Netflix  has dropped a trailer for a Louis CK special simply entitled 2017.

No jokes are teased in the clip, but a media release promises material around religion, eternal love, giving dogs drugs, email fights, teachers and more.

Given the controversy that sprang up in the wake of Chapelle's recent work, it's foreseeable that CK may also ruffle feathers. He is no stranger to controversial content himself - and Netflix has shown a willingness to broadcast such material uncensored.

2017 sees CK perform in Washington DC, dressed in a suit and tie rather than his usual black T-shirt and jeans.

It will be his first comedy special since 2015's Live at the Comedy Store and is being released via the streaming service on April 4.
