Australian beauty blogger Brittany Saunders has shared a photo on Facebook showing what pop star Justin Bieber has to put up with when he just wants to have lunch.
The photo Ms Saunders posted on Friday starkly shows the price of fame. Bieber sits outside an Australian restaurant eating a meal while a crowd of young women stand awkwardly watching nearby, with a police officer keeping them away.
"I want everyone's opinions," Ms Saunders wrote. "I know not everyone will agree with me, and I understand Justin is famous and it's his job to be famous, but to me this picture is just wrong. What did all those girls do? Just stand there the whole time watching him eat?
"Everyone at his table looks so miserable. I understand he can't go somewhere public to eat without this happening but damn this picture just makes me sad."
The post has had over 5000 reactions, with most people agreeing with Ms Saunders.
"Why can't they just leave him alone and let him have a feed! No wonder why he gets angry at them and wants no photos," commenter Stacey Ann said.
Bieber performs in Auckland on Saturday after a two-week stint in Australia.
