CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has apologised after making a joke about US President Donald Trump taking a dump on his desk.
Cooper was talking to CNN conservative commentator Jeffery Lord on his show.
Cooper asked Lord whether he thought it was okay Mr Trump was talking to Russia about how former FBI director James Comey was a "nut job".
Lord replied he didn't think it was an issue.
"I don't care what he says to the Russians. I mean, he's the president of the United States," Lord said.
Cooper replied, "If he took a dump on his desk, you would defend it."
He has since tweeted apologising for the comment.
