Good luck holding back tears while watching 14-year-old Evie Clair's emotional performance for her father after he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

In the latest episode of America's Got Talent, the Arizona teen sang Christina Perri's 2011 song 'Arms', telling judges she's been singing the moving ballad to her dad "on his rough days".

"I sing him this song to make him feel better and give him comfort and strength to continue fighting," she said.

"About a year ago, my dad was diagnosed with stage four cancer... They gave him a five percent chance to live, and he continued working and supporting our family. So tonight I'm here to sing for him."

Evie broke down in tears while telling judges Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel the story behind her performance.

Perri appears to be a fan of Evie's take on her hit, tweeting "THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!" after the emotional performance.
