Rita Ora, Jamie Oliver and Lily Allen are among the celebrities helping out in London after a huge apartment fire left many dead and injured at the Grenfell Tower.

There were reportedly no sprinklers or smoke alarms in the 24-storey building, allowing the blaze to tear through it quickly and kill at least 12, hospitalising scores more.

Singer Lily Allen offered accommodation, transport and cups of tea to those in need.

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver also reached out to victims, offering free food and drink.

"To any of the hundreds of families affected by this terrible fire at Grenfell Tower Notting Hill today, you are all welcome to come hang out in my restaurant and be fed and watered by my Jamie's Italian team," Oliver said in an Instagram post.

"We are in the Westfield just around the corner. Food and drink free of charge so just go and speak to my manager, Juan, and we will sort you out and give you some love ... this is for victims of the fire."

Pop star Rita Ora, who starred in films Fast & Furious 6 and Fifty Shades of Grey, posted on Instagram that the tragedy occurred in her neighbourhood and she would do all she could to help.

Model/socialite Tamara Ecclestone of West London also shared a photo of a vehicle packed with bathroom and sanitary items.

Multiple charity organisations are also helping the fire victims.
