Lorde's second album Melodrama appears to have been illegally copied and uploaded online for free download.
It's set for official release in New Zealand tomorrow, nearly four years since she dropped her first album, Pure Heroine.
Melodrama debuted in full at a private listening session in New York this week and is now being talked about on forums and Twitter after reportedly being leaked in full.
Lorde fans are leaping to her defence on social media, demanding people not to listen to her new work illicitly - one even calling for execution of the original leaker.
The 'Royals' hitmaker - herself an avid social media user - has not commented on Twitter. Her record label, Universal Music New Zealand, has a policy of not commenting on such leaks.
Melodrama will be available to New Zealand Spotify users at midnight tonight.
