Naked Glastonbury crowd member gets song dedication from David Grohl

A naked reveller in the crowd at Glastonbury Festival has given the world an eyeful as he popped up on live television, earning a shout-out and a song dedication from Foo Fighters frontman David Grohl.

As the band was about to launch into their 1997 hit 'My Hero', Grohl yelled out, "It's starting to get good! I see a naked guy! This one's for him."

The BBC cameraman then cut - albeit briefly - straight to said naked guy, enjoying the show from the comfort of someone's shoulders, and giving everybody at home a bit of an unexpected eyeful.

"The BBC cameraman is getting sacked for panning straight to him," one Twitter user joked.

Grohl also apologised for being "two years late" to the show, as they had to cancel their 2015 set when he broke his leg.

Paying tribute to Florence and the Machine, who took their place in the line-up that year, he said, "As I was sitting in my wheelchair, watching the show on TV, Florence played a f**king Foo Fighters song way better than we ever played it."
