Former Prime Minister John Key has been awarded a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours - and his son has paid a fitting tribute.
"Sir John Key has a pretty lit ring to it," aspiring DJ Max Key wrote alongside a fire emoji.
Mr Key had earlier told Newshub he felt uncomfortable with the title of "Sir" and preferred to still be known as "John", which has been echoed by his son.
"... Will still be calling you Papa Key!" Max wrote.
The tribute was shared alongside an image of John Key the knight, playing dress-up with his son when he was young.
It's gotten some positive feedback online already.
"Our knight in shining dollar shop armour," one woman wrote in a Facebook comment.
