Rebel Wilson has come out the victor in her huge defamation trial against Bauer Media.

A Victorian Supreme Court jury of six women deliberated for two days over their verdict, in which they were asked to consider various articles published in Woman's Day, Australian Women's Weekly, NW and OK magazine.

The Bridesmaids star, 37, sat in court every day of the three week trial. For the first week, she gave evidence that her life had been ruined by the eight articles over which she launched her lawsuit.

In the articles, the Pitch Perfect star was defamed by publishers accusing her of lying about her real name, age and childhood.

Wilson said during the trial that she "had to beg" to be let back inside studio doors in Hollywood to impress producers, The Guardian reports,

"Month after month, doors that used to be open were shut," she said.

Wilson says she had been dumped from the role of Jack Black's panda love interest in Kung Fu Panda 3 after the series of "malicious" magazine articles. She also said the head of DreamWorks had fired her in person because she had become "too divisive" for a family movie.

Wilson's mother also testified, as did her siblings, celebrity agents, and friends, including Logie award winner Hugh Sheridan.

The monetary figure is yet to be announced.
